Mike's Story
Time goes so fast. Here i am at 66 retired and living on 6 acres in the mountains of New Mexico. Its beautiful here, very secluded, high desert, Pinon, Cedar, Scrub Oak, Yucca and some Cactus. There are Bobcats, Bear, Mountain Lions, Coyotes and Deer here, not to mention birds of prey and Road Runners and Ravens. I'm making a sort of sanctuary, an oasis for the birds ans living things. From here at night the Milky way is visible and its so quiet. I'm loving it :-)

In textured living
sound and movment
As if in a dance
Of which I am a part of
I feel the wind - a breeze
Speaking in another type of language
Speaking within the trees
and the grass and high desert flowers
Keynotes in birds song
Trembling leaves accent
The hush of subtle
So not to intrude
But more like a lovers touch
I am here
I see you
