Mike's Story
Life
After graduating EHS in May 1987, I attended for one semester at University of Wyoming on scholarship. After flunking that semester I moved back to Texas and enetered the Texas Army National Guard to help pay for college. I attended Oklahoma State University and finished in 1992 and pursued my career in radio broadcasting.
I met my future wife Shelley while I was in college and we were married 12-years and have two beautiful boys. Sadly my marriage to her ended on June 22, 2006 when we amicably filed for divorce.
After college I moved to Wichita, KS to pursue my radio broadcasting career and from there moved to Dallas, Texas to take a BIG TIME radio job. I have been working in radio since I moved ...Expand for more
to Evanston in 1985 and I have parlayed that career into something I can be proud of every day. I am both on-air as a talent and a producer.
I loved my high school days at EHS and they have always impacted who I am today. I dated Jamie Athey, Wendy Coil and a couple of others. I hung out with a guy named Bill my junior year, I forgot his last name, sorry Bill - and became best friends with Daniel Anderson my senior year. I was also very close to Valena Butler who was my neighbor and great friend.
