Mike (mikiebaja)'s Story

Can't believe it's been 40++ years. 1969 was a busy year for me, went in the Army and married Vicky Wood, Viet Nam in 1970, came home to a new baby girl. In 1973 was very fortunate to get a job with the LA Co. Fire Dept. spent most of my 33 yrs. in the Carson area. Went into many classmates homes over the years, looking at pictures on walls and seeing familiar faces. Retired from the Fire Dept. in 2005. ams, still spend a lot of time racing in Mexico, or at our Baja house on the Rio Hardy River. Still water ski and wake board, Married 42+ yrs. to Sue Pace from Downey, 2 kids, 5 grandkids 2 great grands, Life is short, Don't work a day longer than you have. That's the best advise I can give anybody. We now live in TYLER TEXAS, as of April, 2019, any one out this way stop in for a cold one or overnight stay,give me a call. Saddest of days today, had to say goodbye to Braxton, he was the best boy we adopted him or did he adopt us 21/2 years ago, he was 12 when we got him from a shelter where he lived for 6 years, till we meet again..
