Mike's Story
Life
I attended ODU the first year after graduation, then moved west. I graduated from Idaho State University where I spent 5 years skiing mixed in with some school. After college I went into the Marine Corps for 6 years. When I left active duty I went back to school for a while before I decided to become a firefighter. I am currently a firefighter with the Bosie, Idaho Fire Department. r. I served as a tank platoon commander during Desert Storm. I play ice hockey, ride motorcycles and ski to keep myself entertained.
Update: I am currently on active duty in the Marine Corps. I've been mobilized since 2003. Did a tour in Iraq and am now the Command Inspector General for the 1st Marine Division at Camp Pendleton, Ca. I'm married, we have 3 grown kids. I love San Diego and may stay here after I finally retire after 30 years of active duty and reserve service. More to follow on that.
