Update: October 2012, Just back from working(?) in Afghanistan. Injured my feet jumping off the helio and got Medivac. Next day a kid from the 82nd Abn got it from a rocket. Truly I'm get'n too damn old for this stuff, but back to the story -- Geeeez, if I knew I'd live this long I would have gotten out of the Army and finshed law school. I used to be in the Vulcans car club..(tried 3 times, and made it after they lowered the standards.., smile?) cause everybody thought I was a secret member of the Continentals (after 40 years, I'll admit I was). I joined the Cal National Guard at 15 with such luminaries as Joe Bushy, Jack Grieves, and Fatman Martin, and later went active-duty, the Nam, Germany, Russia, and suddenly.., thirty years later, I retired a lowly E-8 Master Sergeant..!! After that I did a short stint in South Africa, and Rhodesia as a mercenary killing terrors for Chirst and writing for Soldier of Fortune magazine. Did some bounty hunting then dropped back into aviation.., which got me back up into "contracting" and the big bucks with Blackwater, DynCorp, and Rockwell working on project that if I told you, I'd have to kill you..(chuckle)..! I'm now living the secret good life in San Bernardino (Muscoy), California, just a stone's throw from the Mexican embassey. Not really, true the whole area is predominately Mexican, but certainly no gangbangers.., just hard working illegals with family and horses.., right, lots of horses which are well cared for and beautiful. I'm a "licensed" FAA commercial aircraft inspector, and I've now been divorced the 3rd time for God's knows how long, from mostly German Jewish girls, except for Louise Rodges the Baptist from Texas..(smile). "Weiizer" and my daughter Cherie live together in Menifee, California and raise horses, dogs, lambs, chickens, and one of everthing.
