Life Let's see. Most of my first years out of school are a blur. I had pretty neat red Firebird Formula 400 and a job loading beer trucks. Life was good for a few years!!! Got married and had a son, adopted a daughter later. Traveled a bit and have been to Europe, Russia and a few other places. We'll be heading to Britian, Ireland and Scotland in 2008. Was in a bad car wreck in 1987 that killed 2 other passengers, I was lucky I guess. Bought my first house a couple of years later and moved to Santee. Was a firefighter from 1986-1995 and have worked for the Dept of Homeland Security since 1996. Had a great life in Santee, but my son was at Santana during the shootings and I was among the first responders. Few things have affected me as strongly as seeing some of my son's friends shot. That and the shooting at my wife's old high school, Granite Hills, got me to thinking about moving.
