What a long strange trip it's been. Since leaving the terrarium that is Birmingham, I've lived in Orlando, Atlanta, Hartford, Albany, and now back to Atlanta. Sure, it's hot in the summer, but it's great the rest of the year, and the olympics were a blast.

eautiful downtown Detroit). Remember when the Tigers were good and the Red Wings were terrible? Once a Detroit fan always a Detroit fan, though, so I've been cheering the same teams as you for the last 22 years.
Sorry I've missed the reunions, but they seem to keep arriving at the holidays, and my family has left Birmingham. Maybe I'll see you at the 25th.
