Mike's Story
After leaving the gym with diploma in hand back in 78 I set out to conquer the airwaves. I was finished with education, or so I thought. Seems as if I've been enrolled in the ¿school of hard knocks¿
ever since. What I have learned is that radio as a career barely pays the bills unless you happen to be Rush Limbaugh or Howard Stern. I am not. Still I can not complain. a. Along the way I was joined by my biggest fan, my wife for now 28 years, Cindy. She has blessed me with one daughter (deceased) and three sons, the youngest of which is now a freshman in high school. Life outside of radio has pretty much revolved around ministry through my church. For just over two decades I have been serving as a Deacon and Bible teacher. Having been disabled in 2007 by complications of coronary bypass, I am now finding even more time to be involved with ministry.
