Life Well here it is I graduated early Jan 76 so I could go in the Marines. I was in for 14 years. I served all over the world. When I got out went to work in the hotel industry as the Director of Security and Eng. Depts. I now run a security company in sunny San Diego Ca. We provide all types of security. I have been here for about 12 years. I have 4 sons Mike, Chris, Marc, and Alec. I met my wife in Ca in 89 she is the greatest. I now have three grandsons and two granddaughters For those of you who knew me as a runner I have not run in a race since 1979. I have been involved in and competing as a powerlifter and as a strongman since then. I was a all Marine powerlifter in the 275 weight class. I am still competing in lifting, hitting over 600lbs on the bench press. I have only been back to BS. a couple of times since 76. My parents moved to Ga. after I went into the Corps. I went and hung out with Gary Leake (may he rest in peace), Mike Cross, and Ed Georgie in 85 before going to Alaska. Had some good times there. Our small town is no more. Update I had gotten hit by a car in 2000 I walked away totaled the car that happens when you weigh 315. When I was 55 I severed my left patella tendon and had to have it reattached. In 2013 I was diagnosed with PTSD and severe hearing loss and other things by the VA . They have taken care of since. I am a disabled vet. 2014 I ended up getting my right hip replaced. Due to the time I got hit by the. Then finally had stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma back of my tongue lymph nodes I didnt take time off during radiation or chemo.
