Life
I went to Virginia Tech (everyone knows what a Hokie is by now, right?) to study Mechanical Engineering. I met my wife at Tech, and we just couldn't leave the state. I co-oped at Newport News Shipbuilding, worked there full-time after Tech, then worked for Silicon Graphics (SGI) for a while. I). That was a great move. Great little company. But... It got gobbled up by a big company (so far, so good) which closed it 5-months later. (Not so good). So now I'm in Austin, TX working for a huge company (Schlumberger). Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible at a reunion, but not looking forward to the embarassment of having forgotten so many names and faces.
