Mike's Story
I sure do miss the good old days, when things seemed laid back and less stressful. Many of you impacted my life in so many ways, mostly good! What did I learn from Rich East high school, that you could live your dreams and succeed in making them happen. With a lot of hard work of course, I have to admit I was a goof off in high school, when I got into college, I figured out that I'd better study and get serious or serve burgers for the rest of my life.

e been a high school football coach in Watertown, Wisconsin, and a U of Wisconsin-Whitewater freshman football coach (running backs), and strength coach. I retired in 1994 from my practice to pursue marriage counseling and Life Coaching here in Colorado. I enjoy the good memories that I have about Rich East, and will cherish them always.
Favorite memories at Rich East, visiting Coach Hanson at his guidance office, football games and practice, sock hops (even though I never danced, to chicken), talking with friends during lunch, going to basketball games with friends, science classes, goofy morning announcements, Coach Hanson, Coach Hundley, good friends like, George Reinbold, Todd Olsen, and Steve King, and many others.
Carol and I were in Park Forest this past summer, we went over to the high School, and walked around the football field, the old football practice field. That was enjoyable for sure. The school hasn't changed very much, was nice to see again.
