Mike's Story
Seems like a fast 45 years since we graduated. Got married, have a son who’s 29 and a daughter who’s 26, and a lot of gray hair. Spent eight years with the Illinois State Police, 3 1/2 with Secret Service, and almost 24 with ATF. Did my obligatory DC time in 1996, and decided Annapolis winters are a whole lot nicer than Chicago winters. f of ATF Public Affairs in 2014 (Uncle Sam has mandatory retirement for agents). Usually get back to Chicago a couple times a year for Bears and Cubs, and most importantly Portillos, although Covid messed up plans for this year.
Hope everyone is staying safe. My daughter is a nurse and says that you don’t want to get this virus. Thankfully she’s been ok-the Mid-Atlantic hospitals have had the PPE they need so far.
