Mike's Story

Life Grew up in Prairie Village, Kansas. High School at Shawnee Mission East. College at Stanford. Law school at UMKC. Practiced law in KC for 18 years. Moved to Washington, DC as a political appointee in the Reagan Administration and stayed. Practiced law in DC for six years after HUD and then worked as Admin...Expand for more
istrative Counsel of the US House of Representatives for eight years. Finished my time in Washington as Chief Administrative Officer for the Department of Homeland Security. My wife and I retired in 2004and moved into our condo in Telluride. In 2010 we moved to Boulder, CO. We play golf and travel extensively.
