Mike's Story
Hello to all my friends!
Been a long time since 1973 when my hair was over my shoulders and 18 by Alice Cooper was my anthem!. A time when guys were guys and gals were gals. Growing up in rural America, Gettysburg, PA, I still remain a conservative person with traditional values.
After calling Gettysburg/Adams County my home for most of my adult life I moved to Mesa, AZ in 2003. Some things I still miss after 20 years out west, Texas Lunch, Tommys Pizza, Revonah Pretzels, Lebanon Bologna, real Longhorn Cheese, scrapple, hog maw, shoe fly pies, chicken pot pie at the Catholic church in Bonneville, friends & family and deer hunting. Not necessarily in that order. I don't miss dodging the Amish buggies on back roads, all the rain and humidity and the flood of tourists in the summer time and yet, I come home each summer to all of that.

nd t-shirts about 350 days a year, only 10 or 15 days of real rain a year, 350 days of sunshine and blue skies, 10% or less humidity most of the time, thousands & thousands of miles of Jeep trails, truly beautiful & diverse landscapes, the cactus forests, real snow capped mountains, really good road systems, lots of wild west history.......................................
Spend much of my retirement time now as Founder and President of JeepExpeditions.org and as a Contributing Author for OutdoorX4 Magazine. The Jeep LIfestyle and overland adventures are my passion.
I love coming back every summer to Gettysburg, home for most of my life. Might see you sometime next June, July and August. Just look for my Jeep Gladiator, you can't miss it! Stay healthy !
Been working on my personal web page but have neglected it and it still has a ways to go before complete, I think I will start over again and do a re-design.
