Mike's Story
Hello friends,
Some of you remember I left North in our Junior Year when my dad bought a roller skating rink, Skateland in Northridge. It killed me having to leave all of you. I enjoyed playing the keyboard in two bands, The Big Difference and the Legends while at North. We played most of the dances.
Now decades later, I have had an interesting life and fun careers. From taking over my dad's rink, Northridge Skateland, with my brother Dave in 1978, being an LAPD Officer for 8 years, then developing Mountasia Fun Center in Santa Clarita, and finally bringing ba...Expand for more
ck Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour Restaurants, I've had a pretty good run. I am now somewhat retired and volunteering with my daughter's military support non-profit, A Million Thanks.org.
I have lived in Orange for 34 years, have a wonderful wife Robbin, four terrific adult kids, one grandson, Jacob (goalie for Jr Ducks), and a grand daughter, Delta Lynn born in Nov, 2019.
I've been blessed in many ways especially crossing paths with all of you at North High. I hope to meet you again in person sometime. I cannot believe it's now 50 years since graduation. WOW!
