Mike Jackson:  

Attended Vincennes University for a year and roomed with Chris Pruitt. Then joined the Air Force to get out of the house. Married Tina Clark in May 1981, then was stationed in So. Cal. Moved to Fairbanks, Alaska and spent 1 1/2 years prior to getting accepted into Officer Commissioning Program. USAF sent me to Purdue during which time my first daughter Megan was born in 1985, and I received my Electrical Engineering degree in three really long years, graduating in May 1987. Five months later I was 'released' from my commitment due to a medical condition that didn't allow me to be a commissioned officer. Went to work for McDonnell Douglas in Yuma, AZ in Flight Test working on DC-9's. Daughter number two, Erin was born in 1988 and we wanted to move back home, so I found a job at Naval Avionics Center while home for the 500 and moved back to New Pal in 1989. Son Brett was born in 1992, changed jobs a couple of times, working in the defense industry, IT, and then landed in the pharmaceutical world working as a contractor for Roche and Lilly. After being laid off twice, from those clowns I decided to return government service. Been with DCMA since 2010. Hope to retire at the end of 2022. Have helped coach football off and on since '91.
