My heros are super heros. Like the old superman. Freedom, justice and the american way. The lone ranger. Chuck Norris, read his book. Doctors who give themselfs 24/7 and do it curtiously and with compassion. Like Col. Jack M. Edwardo P. Nicholas D. Just the opposite of house ( I hate that show
John Leunning one of my best friends in High School before we split with Lincolin. He was a marine in Vietnam, Nicaragra, Brazil, Afganastan. He served wiht Oliver North. He has 170% disability.
Where have I lived? Why did I move?
Brookings, SD college, moved when graduated. Chicago, Il. for a job. Moved to San Antonio, Texas when called up for training due to ROTC committment. One of the things that made college possible for me.
Then I was assigned to Ft. Bragg, NC to 600 bed hospital. South of Raleigh
Then assigned to Fitzsimmions Army Medical Center in Auror...Expand for more
a, Co. a far western suburb of Denver. There I was the third Oncology Pharmacist in the US Army. Left the military they wanted me to leave my new baby girl and go on an unacompanied tour of duty in Panama or Korea. I told them no way was I missing the first year of my daughters life. So I went to Sioux City, IA. to work as an oncology pharmacist at St. Lukes Regional Medical Center. I got called up for Desert Shield/Strom. I went to Ft. Lee, Virginia just south of Richmond. Active Duty was only 90 days. You Know the Shortest War Ever. I stayed there for 2 and 1/2 years due to the fact that there was no job to go home to. I did want to go home even though I was divorced. I wanted to be there for my children. So I returned to Sioux City, IA. to be the Pharmacist In Charge of a Hy-Vee Pharmacy. I am now living in Illinois. Long story for later. bye for now
