Mike's Story
I had only spent one year at Saratoga (Senior Year) before joining the Navy in May 1972. I joined the Football team, and played only as a member of the kick-off recovery team. I had 3 onside kick-off recoveries that year. I was very small for a football player at 5'6" 115 lb.

memorable times were in northern Illinois, in a town named Glen Ellyn, west of Chicago. I did like California and the climate and now reside in San Diego currently working for the Navy as a civilian after retiring from 26 years of active duty in 1998.
I plan on retiring for good in about 4 1/2 years and am hoping my children will someday have grand children that I can enjoy later on.
