Mike's Story
what I've done?
College right after High School. RCC for a term and then SOSC for five years. Teaching Certificate with endorsements English, Social Science, Sociology, Secondary Education, Special Education.
And I worked. A lot. Janitor, cook, rehab counselor, foster parent, gas station (the most fun, seriously) Head start teacher, Library Aide, Teaching Assistant, meteriologist, grocery store cashier, Group home Direct Care staff, Group Home Assistant Manager, Group Home Program Manager. And I even worked at a fabric store. Actually, that was pretty fun, too.

lly fairly good at it.
No marriage for this kid. Who would ever put up with me? My residents and staff at work are all the children I need. And they won't let me kill them. Yes, sarcasm is my shield... sword, house, refuge... Did I mention that I manager a group home for developmentally disabled adults? 19 years now, I must be crazy.
I've been terrible about keeping in touch with people. From school, about the only people I have kept in touch with all these years are Mary Malson and Karen (Fisher) Biggs. they've been my anchors keeping me grounded and out of trouble. Wouldn't know what to do without them.
Its been an interesting life. Most of my really good stories are hard to believe (fortunately, for me, I do have witnesses, although I'm sure some of them would rather have not been there to see it at the time. (Big Smile)
Yep, can't think of anything else.
