Al's Story
Life
Marine Corps 1978-82, then USM. Earned BSBA 1985 and worked for a major oil company in New Orleans and Houston until 1990. Moved to Washington, D.C. to take a position as a defense contractor for the U.S. government intelligence community. Was cleared to a TS/SCI (Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information) level. 1996. Earned MS in Info Systems during this time. Moved to Houston to get out of the snow in D.C., which was 35 inches one weekend. Currently working in IT field with wife of 16 years, Kristin Kaskie of Forest, MS. She also went to USM and has the same degrees. No kids by choice, so we have vacationed in the Bahamas, Hawaii, St. Martin, Cancun, Panama, Trinidad, Italy, England, etc.
