I am married happily for 8 years now I have 2 great lil girls one just turned 7 on Nov 11th 2005 and the other lil one is 5 started school this year. Military HM1/USN Mikel Coates "SFIDC (8425) WANNABE" NSHS San Diego " SFIDC School Class 06005-25 Bravo " 2005-Present Holy mackeral is this school rough, 2 years of college packed into 1 year, 60 credit hours slammed into one year. I feel as if my life is to read, study and take test. I have been here since Oct 2005 and I have yet to catch up on my football, watch Tv, or hit the beaches. Had to leave the family behind while going to school that's the major bummer, the barracks suck butt, WWII error here. Great instructors out here, alright class everyone is stressed out 3-4 test a week with practical labs about 1-2 a week. Just trying to stay above water and ahead of the curve here. Well that sums up the military section. Drop me a line if your in the neighborhood ! NNMC Bethesda " Ophthalmic Tech "2003-2005 Pretty good place Loved DC, the sites were awesome and it was nice to have seasons after being in Guam for 2 years. Worked in the clinic only great Dr's to work for thats bout it for the clinic. Was there a year or so applied to Surface IDC school was accepted transfered to IDC school in OCT 2005. USNH GUAM " Ophthalmic Tech " 2000-2003 WOW great place good family atmosphere awesome CO, The wife and I loved it , the kids love the beaches and the crabs we would collect on the beaches. Only bad deal was that we had 2 super typhoons and 2 kinda small typhoons, We survived Typhoon Pongsona Super typhoon 180+ MPH winds no water, eletric or fuel for a month or so.... Chomoro village on Wednesday, Cheeseburgers at shirleys, Getting spam and fried rice at McDonalds. Made some good friends out there. Eli, Felix, D...Expand for more
ave, Jim Shen, Middleton, Sansone, DOC Bishop.... Tumon what a place. Groton CT. First duty as an Ophthalmic Technician 97-2000 Would have to say this was also another great command. I was married while stationed here to my wonderfull wife Tara. I was surrounded by alot of great people and was lucky to work with the best crew. I don't care what they say we had the best damm school nurse ever. I have to give credit to all the people I worked for to make me a better tech. and person/sailor. Dr. Dempski, AnnMarie, Robdog, Glenda NSHS Surgical Tech School / Ocular Tech School 96-1997 Gret times here , many ounces of alcohol consumed, partied our butts off here. Found my beautiful wife (Tara ) in Sunny San Diego, Ca... Partying it up at E-Street, Blue Tatoo(Foam Dancin), PB Bar N Grill, Moondoggies, and Mooses to name a few. Hittin the beach at Coranado and staying all day just soakin up the sun in SD. Made some great friends ( Zach Davis, Ben Luna, Oscar Luna, and Mike Davis ) I miss my Taco night and poker night at Oscars. Wow really had a blast. DONT FORGET TJ OMG Tijuana Mexico O' do I know TJ Woot Woot !!!! Oakland Naval Hospital " Boot Corpsman " 93-96 Gotta give my props to all my friends at " Oak Knoll". Barry, Brian Lawton, Zach Davis, Quency ("Q"), Big Country, Tommy Boy "if tommy was there it was going to be an interesting night", Aaron S., Bret Y., Carl, Hersey, DO DO Brown " WILL", Josh Berge. And to the crew on 6 - west damm we worked our asses off up there but it was fun. Give it up fo the clubs: Holy Cow, City of nights, DNA Lounge, DV8, the EDGE,Kips in Berkley where Schoe and I drank many pitchers of beer and stayed out so late one night his car was locked in a parking garage. I wold have to say this is one of the best times in my life and will never forget Oak Knoll and all the good times there, I miss all my friends from back in the day. Almost forgot all the good guys down in excess property. Moving crap, breaking crap , and fast roping in one of the wharehouse's. Here is a dedication to Duane Steer who raced palet jacks down hill for the thrill. He is one bad loley soldado.
