Mikel's Story

Life Let's see how to describe your life in 4000 characters or less. I feel like I've been everywhere in the US and many places outside of it. Which is the main reason I'm writing this, because I'm not very good at keeping in touch, even though there are some people I really miss and would love to know again, and hear what is going on in thier lives. It feels like we were in highschool life times ago... I moved to Michigan right after we graduated, went to school and stayed there for about a year. Moved back to Oly (went to school) and rented a house with a bunch of my friends, Kerri (Heriford) lived there too for awhile-I miss you hope you and the babies are good-we had so much fun, too much fun! Then I moved to Germany which is one of the most beautiful places to live, and so central to everything in Europe. I live there in a little town called Butzbach (about an hour outside of Frankfurt) I loved it the culture, the people, and the ability to travel to the surrounding countries, saw things I'd only imagined seeing, and didn't want to come home, but after 2 years I did, back to WA. I got into property management (and went to school) I had a daughter named Mylie(got divorced) and lived, learned, and enjoyed the Oly scene with my friends. I met my (now) husband when I was in Germany ( I was seperated from my former husband at the time so...Expand for more
nothing to "juicy") He moved to Oly from Germany, he got orders to go to Iraq so we got married IN VEGAS ( I recommend it to anyone who is thinking about it, it was the best, wildest experience, perfect for kicking off a marriage) He went to Iraq, which was one of the hardest experiences of my life, and to anyone in the same circumstance my heart goes out to you, and hang in there! He got to come home for a week when my second daughter was born Presley Shay Ochs (who is now 2) and after a year he came back for good, got out of the military and we moved (again) to Maryland. The culture there was very different from the West Coast, but there is so much history there and things to do, it was fun for awhile. We've moved to Montana (where I was from originally before I moved to AZ then to WA) it's nice to be "home" again there is so much to do and the see such breath taking views....it's good to feel your roots every now and again. We do plan on moving in the next few years to the Virgin Islands, I can't wait... Right now I'm a Real Estate Investor (and going to school)I think I will always be a student there is just always something more to learn about, and I am just enjoying the balance in my life (for a change) I hope all my ol'friends are doing well, and living the life they want, the way they want to. I would love to hear from you- Mikie
