I'll try to keep this update brief, but that's going to be very difficult! Guess I should start with school. After EHS, I dove straight into college and graduated from Davis and Elkins in 1992 with 2 business degrees, then proceeded to barely pay the bills in the ski/recreation industry. Seeking year 'round employment in a seasonal business, I took up mountain biking. The ski/bike combo. subsidized with a little table waiting and home owner association office work on the side kept me going for a few years. Then, in a strange turn of events, I was invited to help organize and open a brand new bicycle dealership in Georgia. That was over 13 years ago, and we are still rolling right along (yes, pun was intended ;-). Living near "Hotlanta", I miss snow skiing (but not shoveling it) and am able to enjoy almost a 12 month cycling season. My interests have expanded from pure riding/racing into Bicycle Advocacy, Charity events, Community Connectivity, Improving Health, and Safe Routes to Schools at all levels (federal, state, and local), with the biggest item on my agenda being the building of a bicycle/pedestrian path in my town. Out of necessity, a second company emerged to facility the web advertising, online event registrations, and e-newsletters requirements of the bicycle biz.
