Keys held a special place in his heart, returning for 40 years to camp, surf and lobster dive. Milan was also a pungent political commenter on current events, and a maker of good trouble. Recognized by many as an intellectual and deep thinker, he was fluent in three languages and appreciated a diversity of cultures. He had an altruistic and emphatic spirit that you could not ignore or forget. He valued the art of conversation and made people feel special, no matter their story or age. Born in Johnstown, Pa., he is survived by brother Michael Joseph Pokorny and sister-in-law Karen “Kari” Strasser Pokorny of Denver..
