Mildred's Story
Life
Career educator and writer. Married 32 years on 8-6-09. Two children, a son who is an educator and a daughter who is an Accountant. I have a 12 year old Sheltie mix named "Shoes" and a new Sheltie puppy named Petite Fille. I still like books and travel more than anything else. My husband, Rene Jerome Espree, is my favorite person though. Rene is a Harley man -- since 1978 and has owned a sportser 1st, a Heritage softtail, 2nd and now an electroglide touring bike. This one -- the man and the bike -- are for keeps!
Some of my oldest friends are also my dearest ones. I keep people and books and the other treasures of this infinite blue planet. Mostly in life I've managed to speak my mind and stand my ground, unless I was wrong, of course, and then I've had to pray for grace. Most folks just say I'm still crazy after all these years.

d a writer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a worthy idea. As it turns out, they were correct. That's what I plan to build on for the rest of my time on earn. In the end, I hope heaven has a place for me..
I did not expect to be the spiritual, prayerful, peaceful person that I am. I did not expect to seek to know as much as possible about God and Jesus. I did not expect to become a meditative, contemplative, faithful, faith-filled person who only wants to please God. Life has its surprises. I knew I like philosophy. Didn't know I'd end up a Catholic Christian daughter of the Church, whose hero is Mother Teresa, St Therese of Coderc, Theresa of Avila, and St Therese, the Little Flower. Not to mention the Rev. Doctor Martin Luther King, Thomas Merton, Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Sojourner Truth and yes, Kris Kristoferson, Terrance Simien, and Leonard Cohen.
