Milissa's Story
Life
I lived my life backward...career, school, then family. Managing all three at once has been a challenge, and yet these very elements have brought about some of the proudest moments of my life.
The day that Patrick Edward was born was certainly the happiest day of my life. When I look at my son, I am so glad to be able to share every day of my life with him.

mother to my son. I created my own business that has allowed me to combine all of the skills that I honed in industry and academia.
I have spent the last 5 years building my network within the nonprofit community, creating a new and interesting frontier for my consulting business. I work more hours than I ever did in the past, yet I am able to freely maintain a life of community outreach - which is something that I hope my son will be proud of and continue to build someday.
