Leigh's Story
Life
I moved to Fort Worth from Beaumont in 1955 and graduated from Technical High School in 1959 where I majored in Cosmetology. I moved to San Diego, California in 1962 where I married my first husband and moved away to Fresno. My marriage ended in divorce and I met my second husband there at the church I attended at that time. He had been pastoring for about 20 years. We married in 1980 and lived in the central valley (Modesto area, First Baptist Church, Ripon) for 9 years, then to Ontario, CA for 4 1/2 years. W...Expand for more
e are now in the San Diego(Coronado, an island in the bay)at the First Baptist church where we have started our 14th year. 2008 will make 28 years of happy married life for us.
We have 6 children together; all have left the nest and we are looking forward to retirement in the next 4-5 years.
I am retired from a job as a medical transcriptionist and am working part time as leader of the worship team of our church, which I enjoy. We have a retirement home near Show Low, Arizona which is a very exciting adventure.
