Miriam's Story

Life My life bio? Hmmmm. Well, after being a wife for 11 1/2 years, I finally got a chance to see what motherhood was all about when Kirby (Salem eagle from 1976) and I adopted a 5 yr old girl. Life's bus ride has certainly got us going in a faster gear these days, but we're loving life as parents. I noticed today that I had walked all over town with a school "...Expand for more
visitor" sticker on my shirt. Awhile back, that would have totally embarrassed me, but now, it's like "so? .....I'm a momma who has been to school for a program and forgot to take off the sticker.... who cares?" The funniest thing that happened to me lately is that I almost accidently ran over my ex sister-in-law on a side street when she ran out in front of me.
