Misty's Story

I am following this story wizard with this program, so if it's sounds a little goofy I'll just apologize up front. Thank You. I believe my friends would remember me as a very polite, nice, shy, energetic, happy, playful person who was not afraid to stand up for my beliefs and values. I always wanted to have a Ranch with horses and cattle and a large enough spread to give homes to my family and friends if they needed a place to stay. I loved the hard work and independance of that type of life. My Grandpa and I would talk about this dream extensively regarding how I would achieve my goals. As it turns out I could have used more education and resources to understand financially how this could be aquired. The fact that I was bashful and sensative, made it difficult for me to find other avenues.(I truly enjoy being older, not so bashful and sensative and can learn a lot more). My way of relaxing is walking on my property and enjoying the season changes. Spring is especially fun to see the new growth and anticipate what I might have for plants that year. Otherwise I will watch classic movies or just plain a good family movie with my daughter. I don't believe I ever did anything wild in school. I just enjoyed learning. What a silly statement. I have always worked. Let me see, well, it helps a whole lot of you enjoy the people that you work with and around. I love to find ways to make the work go better and have some laughter involved, but not at anothers expense. Alot of times I laugh at myself for over thinking a problem. I find people to be a lot of fun! I believe a lot of times a person has to work at a job to change their situation in life, but should use it as a stepping stone to get to where they need to be with the gifts and talents that were given to them. John Wayne, Cary Grant, my Dad, and my Uncle Doug will always be my heroes. My Grandparents who endured such hardships and tragedies, but still treasured life and laughter. Mostly the Puget Sound area; Thrift, Tacoma, Bald Hills Road by the Deshutes River, Orting, and Roy. I lived a couple of months in Apache Junction Arizona, but left for Montana when my Grandpa passed away. Reasons for moving was mostly I wanted to have a life of my own away from my parents, but not too far from my horse. The one person from my past I would like to see again is Jay Newlin. I still have a mental picture in my head of Ralph Stickle sending him into the air. I appreciate Jay trying to protect me when we were playing football in P.E. I'm sure Ralph was more gentle with me because I was a girl. Again, Thank you Jay. Wow, I really try hard not to obsess. If I have to put it into words I'd say I love being a Mom and a Construction Inspector. I love to work on my place and see plans and ideas come together. The biggest surprise is that I have lived this long. I never expected to get very old. But I did always say I would love to teach my grandchildren to climb trees! ha ha!! Improving my home requires building a whole new house. That would be absolutely lovely. I am not a plumber, or electrician, or a roofer. I am blessed with the ability to figure out and fix things, but I would rather be riding horse or playing with my little girl. My oldest daughter was constantly teaching me patience and my youngest teaches me about grace. No two kids are alike and I love them both for the caring and unique people that they are. They are blessings to me and I'm greatful for the opportunity to be their parent. I would love to see my 2nd grade Teacher Miss Russell from Central Avenue. She let me stay after school to do math and she was just wonderfully patient and kind. First off, I would Build my parents a house, then buy the Ranch where my Dad grew up in Montana to help out my Aunts and Uncles, then I would want to start a business that would help people to be productive as employees and provide affordab...Expand for more
le commodaties needed here in the United States. I don't believe our Country is well rounded enough for people to feel useful. Then buy my own Ranch and travel to Australia and Europe. The closest thing I had to dorm life was living on Mt. Rainier as the Baker in the Guest Lodge with college students. It was fun, but very different from living on a farm. They had lots of parties. I don't recall a lot of the conversations, it was too long ago. I believe being truly happy is within. Living life like an open book, causing no harm and enjoying little things like the smell in the air when it's going to snow or rain. Having the ability to laugh at yourself when you've done something incredible silly. Having the knowledge and heart to know that you were created for purpose with great love. My current age is 44. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now were OLD! I am so happy that I don't feel, think, or look as old as I thought when I was twelve. Then again, I cried when I turned twelve because I thought I was getting old back then. I am definately a little on the odd side. I really want to get my degree from college in either, science or engineering. I would also like to take some anthropology, Philosphy, Botany, Music, and maybe journalism. My first crush liked my little sister. My best friend...hmmmm. I pretty much just am who I am. What you see is what you get. I like people, they are interesting and entertaining. Oh my gosh, NO! I couldn't imagine dressing up all the time. It's much more comfortable to be practical in my attire now. Let me see the weirdest job I ever had was calling people on the phone to answer a questionaire for Puget Power. I know not very wierd, but for me it was. I share a home with my 11yr old daughter, Heather. She is happy, enthusiastic, talkative, and can be very exhausting, but a joy to live with. Do overs are not realistic. This means a person would have regrets, but the reality is we learn from all of our experiences to become hopefully better human beings. I know very opinionated, but it is how I believe. I have seen too many people unhappy with their lives because of not coming to terms with their experiences and doing what is in their best interest to live beyond and grow. In 10yrs I will be of course older, unless something changes that. Nothing I had planned for my life worked out that way so I have no expectations except to live, love, and laugh for the future. Of course be prepared for what might happen. My oldest friend who is not my relative. Well, my Mom made me go meet her even though I didn't want a new friend at that time. We just hit it off, she could whistle really loud and I really wanted to whistle like that, so she taught me. She is a very kind person and I think we just have that in us, even though we were very different with different interests. She is soooo funny! She could always make me laugh and I have always treasured that about her. I don't think anything about me would be very surprising. I don't believe that many people knew me well enough to feel that about me. I'm not a show boat, and not looking for attention, I just plain like people. I like to hear their different perspectives, I find it interesting. My first job was working in a Deli in Spanaway and got paid minmum wage in 1980, what ever that was. I love making sandwiches and Pizza. What I remember most about the job was cleaning up and the smell of bleach, yuk. I never have liked that smell much. I prefer Pine Sol. A childhood memory..I have so many. I guess one would be looking at the stirrup on the saddle to get onto my Uncle Dougs horse Fireball and trying to figure out how I was going to get up there because he let me ride him all by myself. I was 4 years old. Once on him I let my Mom and little sister get ahead enough so I could go fast to catch up with them. Wahooo!!
