Mitch's Story
Been a long time since high school. After school I tried to go to Rolla but got caught up in the freedom of my first time living away from home so went back to KC. Tried a semester at UMKC plus working and couldn't make both work at the same time so quit and joined the Navy. my future wife in Idaho (during training) and got married. Left the service and went back to the University of Missouri at Columbia and got a BS and MS in chemical engineering. Then it was off to work for Shell Oil Co. till retirement. Spent the last 35 years in Houston, Tx and Baton Rouge, La. Now retired and enjoying the good life with my wife of 41 years while I rebuild a 1969 Dodge Charger.
