Mitch Henderson:  

After graduating from Eastwood, I played college basketball at Hardin-Simmons University I blew a knee, and then transferred to Texas Tech. I happened to meet my wife, Janice, at Tech. We had a botany class together and she was the most beautiful, most down to earth girl I had ever met. I finally got the courage to ask her out.. We dated for a few years off and on and eventually married in 1980. We have 2 beautiful, grown daughters whom also went to Texas Tech. They are beautiful, (thanks to their mom's genes) intelligent and quite athletic. They are pretty darn good golfers. They both played in the LPGA Junior Prescott Tour. Both of our girls are now educators. Our oldest, Janna, was recently married. Our youngest, Morgan and husband Derek,, just gave birth to our very first grandbaby, Gage Henderson Waters.
