Mitt's Story
Life
I began life as a small child. As time passed, I became older. Eventually, I learned to walk. Then one day I ran. I was one of the fastest 200 kids at Washington elementary. As I grew, my clothes became smaller & I would get different, somewhat larger ones. From Crane to Big Spring to Robert Lee, I played some baseball, attended school, went all around and did stuff, and water ski'd a lot. If I'd been a lot bigger, taller, stronger and faster, and could throw harder and hit better, I might have been a pro baseball player. But, I wasn't. Highlights: I fell in an abandoned well at age 3 in Silver Texas. Since then I've broken both wrists, two fingers, a kneecap and a foot. I've had 45 stitches, 2 concussions, a knee operation, an operation on my hand, rotator cuff surgery, a motorcycle wreck, several car wrecks, and a few headaches. I totalled my car when I hit a deer and ran off a cliff in dunebuggy. I have traveled to 7 countries & 21 states. That was all before I turned 40. These days I'm just trying to do the right thing and fly under the radar, live a quiet life (like a ninja) and mind my own business while playing as much golf as I can without getting fired. In the future, I plan on becoming a professional golfer ...Expand for more
as soon as 50 year olds with 2 digit handicaps begin winning tournaments. After I win a couple dozen tournaments, I'll probably retire. After retiring from golf, I intend to figure out just who Felix Navidad is and why all my Mexican friends sing about him around Christmas time every year. In my 60's I'll probably run for President and win. I'll immediately imprison all stupid people, anyone who annoys me, and those that make too much noise. It will be mandatory that everyone laughs out loud 7 times each day and I'll impose a 3-day work week and 4-day weekends. Each day will be complete with a mandatory siesta between the hours of 11 and 2, (unless of course, you have a conflicting tee time). My other goals are to develop the patience of a rock, the faith of Shadrach, the strength of ten Morgan Freemans, and the wisdom of an owl. I married in 1978, 2 kids, 4 grandkids. To be continued ...
