Mitzi's Story
After graduating from CHS I got married. Had my first daughter three years later, Becky now 34 and has two daughters 15 and 12. Two years later my second daughter came along, Kristie now 32 a social worker with two children my grandson is 10 and Rihanna is almost 4.
After leaving my husband in the early 1980s I left Carlsbad and moved to San Diego and got my AA degree.

heumatoid arthritis in 1996 and as the years went by it kept progressing so by the year 2003 I could no longer work. Thanks to the new medications out and after quite a few different RA treatment plans I slowly began to get back to a more normal life.
I am still learning how to live with RA. I have not let this affect my love for life nor my attitude for the beauty and wonder it brings me everyday.
