Molly's Story
Life
I am married and have 3 children, Kyle, Sara, and Will. I'm a published author who's created a series of books based on my college experiences, which keeps me very busy. There are a total of 14 so far, and only half are finished.
We have 3 dogs; a Norweigian Elkhound, a German Shepherd, and a Black Lab.
School
Mintonye Elementary: My 2nd and 5th grade teachers are high on the memory bank. Mrs. Harrell recognized my reading ability and let me go to the 'big' (4-6 grades) library, while Mr.(can't recall his name...he was the student teacher who went on to teach my sister's 4th grade class) introduced me to the concept of Creative Writing and opened up a whole new world:)
Southwestern Jr. High: Mixed emotions when I think back, but the most pleasant memories are those of Choir, Home Ec, and my 9th grade English class. Mrs. Yost is credited for really kick-starting my writing career...I wrote my own ending to Star Wars (and completely got it wrong, but hey, it was a start!). Always wondered what happened to my old friends because instead of atten...Expand for more
ding McCutcheon, I went to Lafayette Jeff.
Lafayette Jeff: Enjoyed Marching Band and my close friends. Favorite classes were HERO, Band, and the history classes I took my Jr. year.
College
Vincennes University: My series was 'born' during my 2nd semester. Little did I know it would turn out to be 14-plus books! Now if I can just make some money, ha ha:) Also made some dear friends with whom I still keep in touch.
Ball State: Happy memories in Woody Hall!
Workplace
I worked a variety of jobs during and after college. I waitressed at the Anderson Country Club; drove a preschool 'bus' (station wagon) for Crossroads Rehabilitation Center; worked as a Developmental Skills Technologist at the Arcadia Developmental Center; and was a monitor on the Special Ed bus after my kids were in school. I also baby-sat when my own children were growing up, and started writing my series when I was pregnant with my 1st child. I am now a published author who's currently shopping around for an agent and a new publisher so my readers can finally read the 2nd book:)
