Mona's Story
I left Hilltop High after 10th grade. My dad was navy and we moved to San Francisco area. Hamilton AFB. Went to Novato high and graduated from there. Moved to NE where my family is from. I met the man I would marry in NE when I was 15. He lived across from my grandmother at the time. I usually was out on my Aunts ranches. I love animals and love ridding horses. I married in may of 78. We had three sons Mike, Sean, and Danny. We moved to Colorado in 86. I love it here. Doesn't get to cold or to hot and it may snow and it's gone in a day or two. I love the mountains. My husband left me in 99 for a skinnier model. I am engaged and looking at getting married Oct. 09. All three of my sons still live at home. Mike will turn 27 in Nov. he is a hermit doesn't like to leave home. Sean is 24 and my rebellious child. Hard time keeping jobs as he doesn't like to be told what to do. Danny is 19 and he works and is looking at going back to school for college. He has a girlfriend. I have other kids who are basically friends of my sons who call me Mom. Have t...Expand for more
wo grandsons from Jake and Kazee. Jake is like a son to me. Gabe is 6 and Darian is 2. I got to enjoy being an at home mom until my youngest son was 10. I worked in electronic world until that area took a dive. I now take care of 5 autistic men in a group home. I work over night shifts. I was in Hearts and Horses. It is a theraputic ridding programs. People with MS can be helped by the horses movements. It exercises their muscles and can make the difference weather the person walks or needs wheel chair. Helps other people with challenges as well. I have three dogs and lots of cats. I like going to dinner and movies. I enjoy going to the mountains. Love going to concerts at Red Rocks it is Gods master piece. Perfect place to see a concert. I enjoy time with family and friends. Got to visit four islands of Hawaii.
I did get married Oct. 24, 09. We went to San Diego for our honeymoon. I wanted to go to Sea World. Danny moved out of the house into one of his own he shares with girlfriend Gabby and friend Chris who is like his brother and my son.
