Monica's Story

Life My Spouse I met my spouse when I was still in high school. We met through a mutual friend. Then we became best friends. My Pets We have 1 tabby cat, Chrissy. In 2005 we added two new family members. Two beautiful Golden Retrievers named Jesse and Abbey. I felt it was time to adopt 2 more furry kids as my dear daughters are now both in college and I am sure they are not far from leaving the nest. I feel so fortunate to have such a great family!In April we(well, I )adopted a rescue puppy. His name is Wilbur. He is a buff colored Cockapoo. He is deaf, his head bobbles and I am totally in love with him. Our Goldens are awesome with him and he slid right into our family. My Kids Yes, I have 2 daughters(Stephanie and Jennifer)they are both really great kids. They are both Honor students and they are active in many school programs. they stay out of trouble(unlike their mother when she was in school,hee hee) I couldn't ask for any better children than them. We are the best of friends. My daughter, Stephanie graduated from WSU this spring and she is getting married in Oct. 2008. I can't believe it! Where did the time go. Thank goodness we have our furry kids as Jenny also moved out in the spring. Weird not having any kids at home..but they are living in town so yay! My Job It's great I get to work with children every day. Workplace I work at Mountain View High School in a Special Education CBC 3/4 classroom. I work with some really outstanding children who are so eager to learn. Every day is a new adventure and I enjoy going to work. It can be challenging at times but that's what keeps it interesting. You never know what the day will bring! Our kids are great and they make going to work easy. : )
