Monica's Story
Life
I still love all that "crazy rock music".
I'm still as crazy and unique as I was in HS. Okay maybe I was a bit of an egotist, and a little eccentric. I've grown up, but I'm still the goofy chic you knew and loved.
I still dye my hair crazy colors....just not as wild, because of my job. (Yes, I DO have a job!)
I finally moved out of the ghetto. I live in Merrillville.
I still talk to the same people as in HS, and some new friends.
and maybe a person here and there I'd never expect to talk to.
I also have my own translating business...Elias Translation Services....it's hard work, but ya gotta work hard if you play hard. Some of you may have seen me at Citizens Financial. I stopped working there in October of 04 to find another job. Now I work for the #2 financial institution in the country.

same goes for A-OH-Hell messenger. I'm pretty easy to find.
And if after reading all this and looking at my pictures youre asking yourselves the same question...the answer is YES, I AM. *wink*
I am also STILL involved in music. Anyone who knew me well in high school knew that i was heavily involved. I'm part of a folk band.
School
I liked Central High. And then ag...Expand for more
ain, I didn't like it. I was glad to be out of there...and now, almost 10 years later, sometimes I wish i was back there. No bills, no worries.
Orchestra was my most favorite class. I can remember waiting all day for 6th hour, and then I'd stay afterschool everyday.
It was the most fun I could have ever had.
Workplace
My life is a whirlwind of sorts.
After high school i went off to bloomington and took a couple of odd jobs there...one was working at a daycare center.
Then I returned home, and started working at this resale shop called the village discount.
My sister had a baby when she was a sophomore in high school, so i quit my job to raise my niece while she finished school.
Did that for two years, then in November of 2001, I started working for Citizens Financial. It was a great place to work. I learned a lot there!
In October of 2004, I left to join a company called Envision Mortgage Solutions. That was quite a learning experience. Never quite got used to driving all the way to Crestwood everyday, so in January of 05, I started working for Bank One, and have been there ever since. I'm still learning, and still enjoying myself, so as long as that remains true... i will be happy.
(that and as long as the bills are paid!)
