Monica's Story
I've been married for 41 years to Kirby. We have a daughter & son who are both married & they each have daughters of their own. Being grandparents is the most delightful & rewarding thing in the world! It is truly a joy.
After graduation, I move to Chicago & got a job in a bank. It was there I met my husband & we were married in 1968 by Father Ed in Armstrong Creek. & collections for several medical facilities & hospitals. After getting tired of the fast paced city life, we decided to move back to the midwest & we're now in Spirit Lake, Iowa, busier than ever! We have our own handyman business & I help him with things like painting, wallpapering, light construction & of course, I do the books. In between we teach ballroom dancing which we love.
I fondly think of my 1967 classmates as well as friends who graduated before & after me. Hope you're all doing well. Would love to hear from you.
