Life Since I graduated from JJ I've led a pretty interesting life. In addition to my gender transition in 1994, I helped found a transgender civil rights organization in 1999 called NTAC and served as its Lobby Director until 2002. I've lobbied state legislatures in Texas, Kentucky and the federal government on civil rights issues. I was co-host of a Houston radio talk show for two years on KPFT-FM on GLBT issues called 'After Hours' from 1999-2001 and I'm a frequent guest on various talk shows about GLBT issues. I was the featured speaker for the first and second Louisville Transgendered Day of Remembrance events in 2002 and 2003 and I teach Transgender 101 classes to government agencies, businesses, college classes and organizations.
