Life Well, I live in a charming little log house on a dirt road on a mountain near Nelson, BC. I have a cat and a dog and a horse and a good man ... e days is fire and rescue. I'm a volunteer firefighter and medical first responder. We also do rope rescue and swiftwater rescue. It's fun, challenging and incredibly rewarding. And I'm a member of Nelson Search and Rescue and Kootenay Heli Rescue. I guess you could say I've become something of a rescue geek ... :)
