Monica's Story
I haved moved around quite a bit. I left Fenton the summer before senior year and went to Smyrna (Atlanta), Georgia. Wow, what a culture shock that was! chool was only 4 years. We escaped Macon and moved to Birmingham, Alabama. I know, you're thinking--how southern and redneck can that be? But, surprisingly, it is not. I love it here and plan to stay at least until retirement. I think my nomad days are over.
My husband, Rob, is an internal medicine physician and is about to open his own "Concierge" medicine practice. It is an exciting time in our lives.
We have one son, Alexander. He was born in November 2001. He is so charming and sweet. I am glad I made the decision to quit my job and stay home with him. Granted, working away from home is much easier, I wouldn't have it any other way.
We love to travel and are learning to fly. Life is never boring.
That's life in a nutshell.
