Monica's Story
Life
Wow. Just turned the big 41. Where has the time gone. I traveled in the military, lived throughout the states and finally landed in Southern California. Nothing like living by the beach and having nice weather year round. Pick up a surf board and hitting the waves is always a plus. I have two cats and partial visitation with a small taco bell dog. I am single, by choice and had many experiences throughout my life. Of course, work takes up most of my time, but getting down to the beach in the RV is awesome. I enjoy hanging with friends, eating good food, laughter in general and I love life. I just got a house and move the first of May. Talk about being excited. That's me. doption is always an option. I stay pretty busy and if asked, would I change anything in my life? The answer would be no.
Workplace
There are alot of years to cover since high school. Let's just say, line cook, publishing company, numerous law firms, physical therapy, communications, sports wear manufacture company, a few pizza and fast food places and finally my career. Boy, it took alot of years to get where I am at today. I have been with the State of California for 16 years and love what I do. It was a fluke putting in for this job in 1992, but found it very challenging and rewarding once I got into it. I transitioned from working the jail setting to the streets about 8 years ago.
Military
I decided to join the service in 1986 and completed a 6 year tour of duty. I got out in 1994. Went to some pretty cool places and saw some things.
