Life
As most of you know, I am a 39 yr old African American female, married mother of five children. I received my undergraduate degreee in social services/criminal justice from Bradley University in 1984 and my MSW from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1990. tely love it! I am firmly committed to the field of child welfare and believe that strong parents and families make strong communities. I beleive that children represent the future and we must do everything we can to make sure they are loved, cared for and protected. I also would like to request all of you to consider becoming foster and adoptive parents, our African American children need you desperately. I am also still best friends with Carla Smith.
