Monty's Story
After WHS I got a Bachelor's Degree in Math at the U. of Rochester. After colllege graduation, the first place that offered me a job was in Florida. After 4 years of cloudy, rainy, snowy Rochester weather, Florida sounded like paradise. I've been in FLA ever since. Still golfing. I was a High School Math teacher for 10 years. Enjoyed it. rogramming. 15 years as a contract programmer, and the last 18 years with Verizon IT. Have one daughter, Leighann, from first marriage. I met Marilyn (current wife and sweetheart) at Verizon Data Services, Inc.. We got married Jan 2003. Marilyn has 3 children (all good kids): Brian, Katie, and Kristina.
Marilyn and I retired at the end of 2017 from Verizon Data Services.
We bought a house in Venice, FL (West coast of Florida just south of Sarasota) and became members of Myakka Pines Golf Course in Englewood, FL.
