Life
Mose Henry was a lead singer for the top 1960Âs group The Highwaymen.Mose Henry is developing a feature film with Howard ÂHÂ White the Vice President of Nike. The film is based on the true life story of Howard. This ÂGÂ rated movie includes stories of his recruiting, mentoring, and managing the following major talents for Nike; Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Cynthia Cooper, Lance Armstrong, Charles Barkley, Deion Sanders, Lisa Leslie, and Alex Rodriquez.
The film ÂThe Messengers is based on the true life story of Moses miraculous journey and the 13 amazing synergistic events that have happened to them along the way. This heart touching story of his recovery from a 13 day near death experience for Mose in January 2003, will make you laugh, cry, and move you to visit The Northwest Coast of Oregon in your mind.
Mose has appeared in concert with Woody Allen, Bill Cosby, Diana Ross and The Supremes, The Association, Jay and the Americans, Frankie Valli, Jose Felicano, Jonathan Winters, Pete Fountain, and Richard Pryor. MacNaughten has performed more than 2,000 concerts. He also was a frequent performer on such shows as The Johnny Carson Show, the Mike Douglas Show and Shindig. He was featured on The Eydie Gorme TV Special and has played in venues as far-ranging as The Bitter End Coffee House in Greenwich Village to Carnegie Hall in New York.

Highwaymen, Mose Henry left the group to head his own media and marketing production firm on Madison Ave. in New York. He wrote and produced soundtracks for such firms as Ford, Kodak, Uniroyal, Mademoiselle and House of Lowenstein. He learned to write and produce feature films with his friend John G. Avildsen who later directed the original ÂRockyÂ, ÂThe Karate Kid films and ÂThe Power of OneÂ. John won four Academy Awards. Moses worked on three films with John G. Avildsen.
Mose Henry made feature film history in 1972 when he wrote and co-produced the film score for ÂChrista with Manfred Mann. It was the first film ever edited to the beat of the music. The legendary Russell Lloyd was the editor on that project. Russell edited all of the John Huston films. Mose wrote and performed 10 songs for the independent film, Christa distributed by America International Film, which went on to gross over $60 million worldwide.
Since then, he has written and produced feature film scores, educational projects and the film score for Abraham LincolnÂs National Birthplace Memorial in Kentucky. The film, shown daily for the past 30 years, included his version of ÂThe 23rd PsalmÂ. Three out of five people viewing the film have requested the song be released to the general public. Mose Henry later went on to tour the camping resort market as a fireside concert artist for seven years.
