School
I couldnt handle Community College, so I enrolled in Job Corps. It was weird, living in a military dorm, but it all panned out. I took Business/Clerical there and learned how to type, answer phones, basic computer knowledge and 10 key. I didnt use it when I graduated, but it was a learning experience for 8 months.
Workplace
FCNB was a real treat. I was known as 'Mister Jackson', doing collection work for Spiegal, Eddie Bauer, and Newport News, also for FCNB visa and ma...Expand for more
stercard. I was a Lead, so I managed 3 people. Before the bank went kaput, I worked in Skip-tracing, finding debtors who changed their phone##s or moved. My top salary was $34,000 at my prime there. It isnt much, but considering that I started at only $20,000 five years prior, I thought I did pretty well.
Military
Never could get in. I tried 3 times, but with heart surgery, 2 knee surgeries and missing 2 fingers kept me out.
oh well, I did try to get in during Destert Storm.
