Little different, four types of wood Red Mahogany (Australian) for base with 1/4" Maple, Walnut,Ash as top plates. Marine Blue- four part stain. I wanted a non uniform look it was not made on a machine.

Maple with Mahogany center raised just a little, with Hickory drop top. Try new finish Poly. for more of the wood to breathe. Nice tone.
Almost had to break Pats arm to dance with his wife
Changed wood from Maple to Oak.
We changed the color from red to black.
This a natural finish to the Brizilain Cherry drop top.
