Paul's Story
Life
My life after high school has taken
me into some exciting places. In
1983, I met my wife, and we were
married in August of 1984. In June of
1985 we both accepted Jesus Christ
into our hearts and lives and began
to serve him together. I became a
pastor in the Calvary Chapel
movement and pastored my first
church in Washington on Whidbey
Island (1993-1997).
In 1997 we moved back to the
Sacramento area where I am now
Associate Pastor of Calvary Chapel
of Sacramento. We are blessed with
four children, 2 boys (Aaron & John)
and 2 girls ...Expand for more
(Rebekah & Madeline).
Our lives are probably much like
yours, we have had our ups and
downs, but having Jesus Christ at
the center of our lives is a constant
source of peace, hope & strength. He
gives us the love & grace we need -
not just to live - but to thrive.
In many ways I am still the same
guy I was in high school, but I have
been changed (and am being
changed) on the inside. I had a lot of
insecurities in high school, but now I
am secure in knowing that I am loved
& accepted, not only by my precious
wife, but by God himself.
