Myra's Story
My story is probably no different than a lot of others, although I do wish I had enjoyed my high school years more. Right after high school, I went to work fulltime for the Santa Ana school district were I worked for 13 years. I got married a year out of high school and in 1979 had my first son. Six and 7 years later we had 2 more boys. We lived in Santa Ana were we bought our first home. In 1990 we left Southern Cal and moved to Sacramento where we lived for a year. In 1991 my kids and I left California to return to Austin, Texas where I was born and have lived here ever since.

really didn't get too involved in school activities. I was somewhat of an intravert. I had some close friends that I wish I had stayed in touch with like Laura Moreno, Cheryl McDougal, Carrie Eisenhauer, Sharon Trudeau (she was from Canada), Debbie Cordell, Jeff & Thomas Cordell, Ed Sebrasky. We weren't popular kids, just regular kids trying to get through four years of school with all of our "marbles" and figuring things out as we went.
In 1997 I remarried and live a comfortable life. I have 4 grandchildren which I love to death. I still work full time but look forward to retirement one day.
