Myra's Story
Hi,
I left Alabama in '96 and now reside in Louisiana.I've been married for almost 33 years.I have a wonderful husband who treats me like a queen.I'm an artist and I do commission work.I spend alot of time with my beautiful daughter and my 7 year old grandson.I enjoy reading and I'm a member of the book club at my local library.Life has had it's ups and downs ,but for the most part,I can't complain.My husband is a great person and a cancer survivor.When he was pronounced cancer free in 2003,he went out and bought him a Harley! He's my hero.Our mantra is:Life is too short to sweat the small stuff!

My obsession:Star Trek!!!
My current age is 52. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be really old. I was so completely wrong!.
My first job was at Burger King, where I got paid $2.10 an hour to make burgers. What I remember most about it is how much I hated it!.
I always wanted to be a singer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a dumb idea. As it turns out, they were right!!.
To relax I like to sit on my front porch swing with my Yorkie and watch the hummingbirds.
My hero is my husband.He had a battle with cancer that almost killed him.He was in so much pain and he never complained.His faith inspired me.
